Sashiko Placemat Shippo Tsunagi makes it easy to practice your stitches and then wash away the pattern when done! The pattern name means seven treasures, and the finished project size is approximately 12 x 17.5 inches, and can be used as a placemat, or a variety of projects like tote bags or visible mending.

Made in Japan with Japanese instructions, but there are lots of tutorials out there on sashiko techniques! A visual translation app can be very helpful as well.

Sashiko Placemat Shippo Tsunagi includes just the preprinted indigo cotton fabric. Needle and thread must be purchased separately.
