Flower Printed Socks Workshop

Create colorful flower printed cotton socks and learn the art of natural dyeing. You will bundle flowers and plant pigments onto a pair of cotton crew socks to create your own one-of-a-kind dyed flower socks. We will learn which flowers make the best flower prints and how to preserve them. The workshop will include instructions how to continue the natural dyeing at home. 

Couleur de la vie artist Bobbi Matuk creates beautifully dyed scarves, clothing, home linens, silk pillowcases, bags, etc. She uses an application of natural dyeing where plant materials are enclosed in textiles, bundled and steamed to extract the plant pigments. Colorful one of a kind prints are produced from the plant dyes. She loves sharing the process with others and creating vibrant scarves, clothing, upcycled vintage, and textiles to be loved for years to come.
