Sew a Drawstring Bag
In this workshop, London will teach you how to sew a super practical drawstring bag to use for travel, produce, sustainable gift wrap or whatever you like! You will choose from our collection of upcycled and reclaimed fabrics, and decide the size of bag (or bags) you'd like!
Appropriate for new and experienced sewists. London will give you a brief tutorial on how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, choose your needle size and stitch length, and adjust the tension. Then you're off and sewing!
Small class size of 6 or fewer means you get lots of personal attention.
Adults, teens, and kids ages 10 - 12 accompanied by parent are welcome to join.
London Delicath started sewing doll clothes when she was 9 years old without permission, forcing her mom to teach her so she didn't hurt herself or break the machine:) These days she enjoys creating with upcycled and reclaimed fabrics, and sharing her love of sewing with you!
