In this four hour workshop, we will learn techniques for six different hems: a double fold hem, a blind hem by machine and by hand, a roll hem, a faced hem, and a denim hem.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAll practice materials will be provided. From pattern making, to historical corsetry, millinery to magical teacups, Barbara has a broad range of experience in the costume shop. In recent years, she has discovered a love of hand sewing as a means of making art, creatively maintaining clothing items she loves, and slowing down in a busy world.
