Ready to take the next step and start sewing your own clothing?
This six-week series for adults and teens builds on foundational skills and introduces you to the process of sewing garments from a commercial pattern. Together, we’ll create a comfortable, gender-neutral pair of pants while learning the essential techniques that turn flat fabric into wearable clothing.
You’ll work step by step through reading a pattern, understanding sizing, cutting with precision, and assembling your garment with confidence. Each week reinforces what you’ve learned while introducing new construction methods in a supportive, small-group environment.
By the end of the series, you won’t just leave with a finished pair of pants — you’ll understand how to approach future garment projects on your own.
What will we make?
Over six weeks, you’ll sew a versatile, gender-neutral pair of pants customized to your fabric choice and fit. The pattern is the Pacific Pant for more details. Along the way, you’ll learn how to confidently follow a clothing pattern and complete a garment from start to finish.
