Sewing & Fiber Arts for Homeschoolers at SLOLife Studio

Hands-on skills. Small classes. Real projects.

Looking for enrichment classes that actually teach your kids something lasting? At SLOLife Studio & Mercantile in San Luis Obispo, we offer sewing and fiber arts instruction designed for learners of all levels — including homeschool students who thrive with focused, project-based learning.

Our studio keeps class sizes small (just six students!) so every child gets personalized attention, real time at the machine, and the satisfaction of finishing something they made themselves.

What We Offer

Monthly Sewing Lessons – Kids (Ages 9–15)
Our monthly kids sewing class is a fun, hands-on way for young makers to build real skills at the machine. Each month focuses on a new project, so students keep learning and always have something to show for it. Small class sizes mean every kid gets the attention they need to succeed.
