Holiday Card Block Printing Workshop

In this cozy seasonal workshop, you’ll learn the art of block printing — from carving your design to hand-printing a set of festive cards. We’ll walk you through each step using easy-to-carve printing blocks and inks, perfect for beginners or anyone who loves handmade touches.

Whether your style is classic, whimsical, or modern, you’ll leave with a beautiful set of ten cards (and the block to make more at home!) that capture your creative spirit. 

What you’ll learn:

• How to plan and transfer a design

• Carving and inking techniques for clean, bold prints

• Tips for repeating designs and printing on different papers

All materials are provided — just bring your creativity and holiday cheer!

Katelyn Sweigart is a serial hobbyist. From creative writing to building Gundam plastic model kits to 16th-century bookbinding to leatherwork, she is mostly self taught in all her pursuits. Katelyn started her business Book & Bottle Crafts because she was running out of room with all the books she was making. Raised in Arroyo Grande and graduating with a journalism degree from Cal Poly, she loves the local artisan community of the Central Coast.
